National Signing Day 2026

February 4th, 2026 National Signing Day

The day that High School Seniors around the country sign their National Letter of Intent for College Athletics.

I was fortunate enough to have 7 of my athletes signing their National Letters of Intent to play College Baseball.

10 players in total who have signed to play College Baseball. 2 who already had their signing day celebration with their school, and 1 who's school has yet to have their signing day.

My biggest class of College Baseball Commits yet.

With all who have been long tenured players with the JAYS.

Which is why the 2026 class is one of my proudest.

Guys who I started coaching back to 8th grade. Who allowed me to go on this journey with them through their High School Career.

Spending each Summer and Fall with these guys non stop for the duration of their High School career, I've watched them succeed, fail, rise again to dominate only to fall and struggle again. They put in countless hours of work, asked questions, believed in the process and in themselves, all for that to culminate into opportunities to play College Baseball.

I've personally grown up with the class of 2026. From the beginnings of starting my Baseball Academy, being fresh out of playing and applying all that I knew to give back to the game. As much as I've watched them grow up from Freshman trying out for the High School team, to now being the guys on their varsity team and going on to play in College. Going from being a ballplayer to adjusting to being a adult in the real world, I became more of a Coach with alot of these guys. I always felt more as a {distance} big brother to them. I taught them the game to help them grow, and I was hard on them, which is sometimes where we bickered like brothers, but I also related to them off the field.

I may be one of the many Coaches they go on to have in their career, but to me, the 2026 class will always be a one of a kind special class for the JAYS. Players with talent and the relationships that can't be replaced.

Even though I no longer get to coach these guys as a group again, it excites me to be able to go watch them play College Baseball and to see where their careers go. My only hope is that they arrive to campus Day 1 and they feel as if they are prepared to endure the grind... because that was always what I felt was my job, to prepare them for the game. Maybe one day at the end of their College Career, through their experiences they can look back and identify teachings that went on to allow them have success in their careers.

While I'm very proud of the 2026 class; the class itself is not complete and that leaves me unsatisfied. We have a few more JAYS that we are going to get committed this Spring to make this a 100% signed class!

Congrats to these guys who signed to play College Baseball on National Signing Day.
